If you’ve experienced pelvic pain, gut health and digestive issues, or difficulty with urinary incontinence you may have just been told:

In conventional care settings, pelvic floor concerns are often minimized or treated with a one-size-fits-all approach. Appointments are rushed, follow-ups are sparse, and your unique needs are rarely addressed. 

But the truth is, you deserve so much more. 

A functional, personalized approach to pelvic floor health not only treats symptoms but gets to the root cause of your issues. 

 

In-Person Appointments


All in-person pelvic floor physical therapy will take place at my office in Christiansburg, VA. 

You can expect an initial evaluation in which we will review your medical history and intake forms, complete a full movement exam to identify where the root cause of issues are stemming from followed by an internal assessment (if needed!) to game plan how I can best help you reach your goals. I use a full-body holistic approach through evaluating movement, nervous system regulation and speaking on dietary and bladder/bowel function. 

Patient's will meet with me 1x/week either every 1-2 weeks or 1x/month depending on their specific needs. Timeline for number of visits normally varies between 6-10 sessions. 

Each session will consist of manual or hands on therapy to reassess symptoms followed by a new list of exercises for you to complete in your own time in between sessions. 

 

1:1 Online Coaching

Just as with in-person appointments, online coaching has all the same perks from the comfort of your home! 

We will meet every other week to check-in on your progress, update your exercises and reassess how you are moving. 

In between sessions you have access to me via email or text as well as using a tracking form through Google to hold you accountable with food and water intake, bladder/bowel health & stretches/exercises. 

My goal for you is to be your guide and coach that helps you become free of pain, incontinence, or prepare for the prenatal/postpartum period! I have made myself accessible through online coaching in order to reach clients who may not have access to a close by pelvic floor therapist, the busy individual who does not have time to come in office, or the mom who needs help but doesn't have to resources for childcare each visit. 

 

Online Prenatal & Postpartum Courses

Coming Soon! Learn how to prepare the pelvic floor, core and body for labor and delivery as well as the postpartum period. 

Prenatal course will review perineal massage, different pushing positions that are pelvic floor friendly, ways to prevent perineal tearing, tips to alleviate common aches and pain during pregnancy and how to prevent severe diastasis recti. 

Postpartum courses will teach you how to assess for diastasis recti, break down core movements that you can progress over time, give tips on ways to protect your core and back with functional movements such as lifting a car seat or picking up baby.
